Billy and Crystal Coley- missionaries to Kenya

On Sunday, December 1st, we are having Billy and Crystal Coley with us. They are currently on deputation, raising money to go to the field of Kenya. They will be with us for our morning services.

We are collecting items for a basket to give to the Coleys when they are with us. For more information, see Laura Carter.

Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Missions Month

We had a very busy and exciting Missions Emphasis Month. It started out with the Thomas Family and their ministry, Victory Ranch (see previous post).

Rick Carter, SR and his wife Eunice presented their ministry of planting churches that also plant more churches. Since he is our founding Pastor, we understand the need and benefits of his ministry. We were able to present them with a new table display banner that the church raised the funds to buy.

The Grissoms to the people of Plymouth, England shared their burden. We were grateful to be able to have them join us just before they left for England two days later.

The Keister family joined us on a Wednesday night to show us their burden and call to the people of Bologna, Italy. It was exciting to see how the Lord has been preparing them for this missionary work. They are currently on deputation and hope to go to Italy in 2020.

Lastly, we had the Nikkel family who are just starting their journey to the Czech Republic. We have supported them for several years as missionaries to Papua New Guinea, but Tyler was able to share how God changed their ministry to the people in Eastern Europe. They will be going on a survey trip in March.

The heartbeat of the church is Missions, and if a church doesn’t support missions, it will die. We must do our part of the Great Commission by reaching those here, and by sending out others to reach those far away.
